Because of the fact that I don't want to limit myself in terms of ideas for modules in this project, the theme statement of my project is as follows:
Energy conservation by way of the use of alternative fuels.

The cover story for this month's National Geographic is about harvesting corn for fuel. I think it can be read online (somewhere around here: http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/ngm.html) I thought you might be interested!
I don't know if this helps, but I always see commercials for BP's research of alternative fuels and their solar plant in Frederick, Md. A story about that plant could be a possibility for you. It's located right off of I-70 and you can see it from the road.
